The inspiration of “Leverage” comes from the observation of daily human behaviour. The switch of light is nothing but static push-button; and the gesture of pushing equals to lightness or darkness. The trade between lamp and human triggered my interest. I started to search for signs in everyday life that allow people to embrace a logical and poetic imagination towards lighting. 
 
The balance of “Leverage” turns the unit of lightness into weight. With the structure of leverage from scale sophisticatedly merged into the lamp, I define a new trade protocol in the lighting system and use weight to value the lightness.
